Who killed 19 year old Carina Saunders?

I don’t have a police response time so I can’t draw up a chart. This case really bothers me though so I felt it was necessary to contribute a reading through Tarot. Carina was last seen on my Birthday 9-26-11. She was found 10-18-2011 dismembered in a duffel bag by animal rescue workers. There are no persons of interest and no leads in this case.

the Sun reversed was the first card that I got when asked “who killed Carina”. This card would indicate a end to growth and development. It can show low self esteem, and a negative experience from childhood. a stalemate in a marriage, or at home. with the ten of cups, the tower, and the 5 of cups it can indicate the loss of a relationship, loved one, or child. I think this person has ties to Carina through her family and recently experienced something difficult. Paired with an unfortunate childhood it could have caused him to snap? When paired with the tower often this card can show some type of revelation in the works also. Maybe she revealed or threatened to reveal some thing she should have kept quiet about such as an unexpected pregnancy or a bad childhood experience regarding this man? the number for this card is 19 and added together would be 10. The number ten is very repetitive in the reading.

The tower is rarely ever a good surprise. It is usually some kind of obnoxious issue that rises up out of the blue very unexpectedly. The letter W is connected to this card as is the number 16 and the number 7. With the sun and tower together again i must say this often indicates shocking family news, or unexpected issues. Typically I would say that it is possible that a child is involved due to the sun card. I would imagine there is some group influence or connection also to this man. He may have been married into her family or seeing a relative.

The king of cups is usually described as a man over forty or close to that age. salt and pepper hair, blue or blueish green eyes. Water sign (Pisces, cancer, Scorpio). He rules the water, fluids, emotional issues of the heart. This may indicate some authority figure in Carina’s life. he is introverted and watching this happen from behind the scenes. He may go to her vigils, or so forth. He will watch but not really interact and kind possibly be aloof.

The five of cups is typically a sad and depressing card. It shows us a man who is grieving or has suffered some kind of loss. A lot of emotional trauma with this card. Sometimes it can show a lot of arguments, or a separation. Some times the death of a loved one. In this card two cups are left upright on the path un spilled. All is not lost. It makes me think that there is still some kind of evidence left behind near where Carina’s body was recovered. Cups rule fluid so it could be any kind of body fluid, a soda can or bottle, ect. Think liquids. Might be a bridge in view as you can see a bridge in this card.

With the ten of cups we see a couple and two children in front of their family home. It is a card of marriage, and family. It may indicate that this man is married with children. it is a card of family ties, makes me think he is a family friend or family connection. I guess they usually are though aren’t they?

the ten of swords is reversed in Carina’s reading. It could show us that he is trying to cover up something by what he has done. She didn’t really see this one coming, and was back stabbed by some one she knew and trusted. She was done away with to keep the past in the past where he thinks it should be. Getting this card it makes me think he felt like this was only option and he “took care of it”.

This card reinforces the victim mentality this man has about what he has done. he was acting like some kind of martyr and felt that by doing this he was protecting some one or something. It is also a card of prisons and institutions though. HE may have a history of being institutionalized, paranoia, anxiety, fear they all go in this card. he will need to talk to some one about this, and I think it is only a matter of time before he does.

Closing thoughts: We are looking for a man in his forties, married, possibly with children. some connection to the family through marriage, or friendship. he will still be hanging around the scene, vigils, or family. this is an inside connection, and he is very introverted. still waters run deep, and on the surface he may seem cool and collected but he is not. He is very mentally ill.
