Report: Dodgers owners paid psychic to heal team, offer advice from Boston
Just when you thought you’d heard it all about Dodgers owners Frank and Jamie McCourt, you realize you haven’t.
According to a story by Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times, the McCourts hired a Russian psychic to send the team good vibrations from Boston to L.A. — not just once, but from 2004-2008.
According to the story, Vladimir Shpunt, 71, lived most of his life in Russia and knows “next to nothing about baseball.” But he has three degrees in physics and a letter of reference from a Nobel Prize winner.
