Paradise psychic tells Orland man where to find his missing briefcase
ORLAND — Harold Ward, 67, found his stolen briefcase Saturday, and believes he has a psychic to thank for it.
Ward told the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office he had last seen his briefcase in late December. He thought he might have misplaced it, but more strongly believed it was stolen from either inside his Highway 99W home, or from his vehicle.
The briefcase contained some important papers relating to the sale of vehicles, and Ward said it was critical he get them back.
On Saturday, Ward considered talking to a psychic about the theft.
He said he thumbed through local phone books and recalled that most of the ads for psychics seemed overblown, and weakened his notion to call one.
Then the simple listing Clarisse Conner, Psychic, caught his eye. He called the Paradise woman, who said she could help him.
