Lane Bryant murders update
TINLEY PARK – Tinley Park police say eight investigators are still sifting through thousands of tips received following the fatal shootings at a Lane Bryant store in 2008.
The crime has become one of the area’s highest-profile unsolved cases.
On Feb. 2, 2008, a man walked into the Lane Bryant women’s clothing store at 191st Street and Harlem Avenue about 10 a.m. He herded six women into a back room.
About 40 minutes later, five women were dead, shot execution-style. One survived.
