Jury to decide on mental health of man allegedly involved in 1984 murder
A jury will be asked today to establish the mental health of a man allegedly involved in the fatal stabbing of a woman 26 years ago.
Salvatore Mangion has been accused of involvement in the murder of Rosina Zammit, 54, in February 1984 in Safi. She was stabbed almost 40 times.
The jury is to be asked to decide, after hearing medical evidence, whether the accused is in a fit state to undergo a murder trial.
